If 2024 was the year Flow found its rhythm, then 2025 was the year we cranked up the volume, added a bassline, and said, “Let’s make it creative, unique and wildly effective.”
This was the year we cracked open new research, hopped across continents, made the LinkedIn algorithm treat us like VIPs, and proved once again that you can grow fast without losing your spark.
Here’s everything we built, learned, and celebrated, with some fun along the way… and the attitude that important work with intention is never boring.

We Didn’t Just Keep Up With AI
We helped define the definition.
2025 was the year our LLM + AI Search research grew legs, ran off into the world, and started showing up in places we didn’t expect.
This research was months of testing, modeling, reverse-engineering, and asking, “Wait, why did the traffic curve do that?” And the industry noticed.
And if you’re wondering who kept the AI sparks flying… that would be Helene and Boban, our in-house masterminds who treat complex modeling like it’s a Sunday crossword. Their fingerprints are all over the work everyone keeps talking about.

This wasn’t hype. This was actual influence, and the kind that shapes how brands and marketers think about AI search, trust signals, and what the future looks like after AI Overviews and LLM rewriting.
“Our team recently attended a session led by Viola Eva, and it was one of the most engaging and insightful trainings we’ve had. Viola masterfully connected the evolution of SEO with the realities of today’s search landscape, helping us understand not just what’s changing, but why. Her energy and storytelling made the session both fun and thought-provoking, leaving the team motivated and informed. She has a gift for making complex marketing shifts feel approachable and exciting.”
Jill Crawford, Selerix
“It was extremely insightful working with Viola, Helene, and their team at Flow Agency. We conducted a project together regarding’s Wilmac Technologies’ opportunities when it came to SEO and GEO. Viola developed a comprehensive plan where she led the team through an intensive site audit with great recommendations on how we could improve.”
Emily Miller, Wilmac Technologies
Unexpected Recognitions
Women in Tech SEO is one of the most respected communities in our space. We’ve found real partnerships there, and even a few new team members. And this year, Flow Agency set out not to just be involved, but to make a real attempt to add something of value.
- We were featured across multiple WTS newsletters.
- Angela, Lisa and Helene all had articles that ranked among the 100 most-clicked posts from 99 newsletters.
- We featured expert insights from WTS members in our own content.
- Flow Agency insights kept popping up in community threads.

This wasn’t accidental.
And let’s be real — we probably made some friendships that will survive more than emails and Slack messages. Honestly? That might just be the biggest win of all.

We Took The Stage… Actually, Lots of Stages
Flow Agency turned into a global speaker lineup this year, and honestly, it started feeling like we needed our own tour merch.

We stepped up at:
- SaaStanak — Boban Ilik, Helene Jelenc, Sandra Potisek and Viola Eva were in attendance, with Viola delivering an insightful talk
- SERP Conf — Where Helene took to the stage
- WTSEO Berlin — Sandra, Megan Thudium, Lisa Kubatzki and Viola represented (and yes, Viola spoke here, too!)
- brightonSEO — The duo of Helene + Angela Ash were part of niche roundtable discussions and conversations that mattered
- Digital Olympus Day Amsterdam — Boban + Viola showing up, with Viola hosting a Mastermind
- SaaS SEO Alliance Conference – Boban as a virtual speaker

Every stage had a different vibe, audience and focus, but the intention was the same across the board:
Smart. Practical. Sharp. A little fun. And rooted in what’s actually happening in Search.

Creating Our Own Stage(s)
We didn’t just attend other industry events. We hosted our own, whether it was live meetups or webinars:
Boban and Angela hosted their very first link-building webinar.

Our Content Hit Its Stride
2025 was the year our team’s content started showing up everywhere, and getting reactions like “saved,” “stealing this insight,” and “I didn’t know marketing posts were allowed to be this fun.”
These were tactical SEO posts that made people rethink their entire workflow, and thought-leadership threads that walked the line between spicy and strategic.
Some of the most talked-about pieces included:
- HARO and Its Alternatives: A Real-World Survival Guide for What’s Next in Digital PR
- The State of Backlinks and Link-Building Trends in 2025
- HR and Work Tech Visibility in AI Mode: 5,000 Keywords
- Embedding a ChatGPT CTA in Your Content
- How to Turn Your Community Into a Collaborative Goldmine
- SEO for Perplexity: A Guide for B2B Brands
- B2B SEO for ChatGPT: From Visibility to Sales
This wasn’t content for content’s sake. It was personality-driven expertise… the kind that builds trust and gets shared because it actually says something of value.

We Collaborated With Rep Cap and Loved Every Minute of It
Working with Mary Ellen and the Rep Cap team this year was one of the quiet power moves of 2025.
Together, we delivered:
- Smart strategy
- Scalable content operations
- Cross-team harmonies that felt natural
- Wins for clients that felt like shared victories
It’s rare to find a partner who gets your systems, your standards and your energy.
We found one.
We Launched Video SEO Services
Adding Video SEO in 2025 felt like the natural next chapter. And the good news was that Sandra was ready to make the magic happen.
She built:
- New internal frameworks
- Repeatable workflows
- Strategic approaches for YouTube and video-native search
- Client wins that proved the system worked
And right in the middle of all this excellence, she was promoted after just six months.

Viola Made It Into Print (Yes, Actual Paper)
2025 gave us a milestone we’re framing on the wall: Flow Agency appeared in print in Brandeins.
Not a PDF.
Not a social screenshot.
Real, tangible paper with ink that smudges slightly if you brush it the wrong way.
It felt iconic, and maybe a little nostalgic. And it’s absolutely worth talking about forever.

TEAM RETREAT 2025: The Vibes Were There
If you ask anyone at Flow what their favorite moment of the year was, there’s a very good chance the team retreat is sitting somewhere in their top three… maybe even #1.

Why? Because we didn’t just “retreat.” We:
- Strategized like our careers depended on it
- Ate together (and yes, the desserts were memorable)
- Laughed until our stomachs hurt
- Soared down the side of a mountain
- Debated ideas like future billion-dollar moves were on the line
- Planned a webinar
- Had those magical, human moments that remote teams only dream about
In short, it was packed with the kind of real, unfiltered connection that makes a team unstoppable.
And the magic didn’t stop when we left. Workflows got smoother, clients got happier, and the team? Well, let’s just say we now operate at a new level of cohesion, trust, and “I’ve got your back” energy.
Because retreats aren’t just fun — they’re the secret sauce behind high-performing teams. Want to take a peek at the fun we had?

New Faces. New Firepower. Bigger Flow.
We added new team members this year who stepped in as if they’d always been here. They immediately began strengthening workflows, elevating client accounts, and bringing their own spark to the culture.
Other “people” wins include:
- Kendyl Rae became our first-ever Flow intern (Learn more in Kendyl’s LI post!)
- Team capabilities expanded
- New strengths emerged
- The Slack channels got louder (in the best way)
Flow didn’t just grow in numbers. (We’re up to 19!) We grew in skill, diversity, creativity and perspective.
And most importantly, we scaled up with intention. This wasn’t a magic trick or something that happened overnight. No… it took thought, strategy, and a serious eye for fit. We identified exactly where we needed talent, then brought on new team members who didn’t just have the skills to hit the ground running. They also fit seamlessly into the Flow culture we’ve always been so proud of… and fiercely protective over.

Giving Back, Because Wins Feel Better When Shared
This year, we kept giving back — because meaningful work isn’t just about clients or campaigns.
We were proud to sponsor a WTSFest Scholarship in Berlin, with more lined up in 2026 in both London and Portland. Making sure people in our space have the same chances to learn, grow and crush it? Yeah, that’s kind of our thing.
It’s not just about contribution.
It’s about community.

Helene: From SEO Leader to Innovation Icon
And we’d be completely remiss to wrap up this post without mentioning one more super-important thing.
If 2025 had a human embodiment, it would probably be Helene. She’s wowed crowds with her public speaking, led our SEO team all year as Director of SEO, and masterminded AI and automation projects that actually work. Her strategic mind and fearless approach have turned complex challenges into real wins for the team and our clients.
Beyond the accolades, Helene is the ultimate sounding board for the entire Flow team, always ready with guidance, perspective, or just the right nudge when someone hits a tricky spot. She’s been a steadfast support for Viola, helping steer projects, brainstorm ideas, and keep our energy high — all while preparing to step into 2026 as Director of Innovation, which, yes, sounds as epic as it is. ✨

Looking Ahead: 2026, Here We Come
If 2025 was the year of clarity, contribution and community-powered momentum, 2026 is shaping up to be the year of scale, creativity and even bigger impact.
We’re bringing all of this energy with us. This includes the research, the stages, the content, the partnerships, the experiments, and even the questionable dance moves.
And if this year taught us anything, it’s a very important motto that we’ll proudly emblazon on any t-shirt. (Wait… do we need a Flow Store?)
You don’t have to lose your personality to lead. You just have to use it with purpose.
